Fabric Shaver

I am sure that you have seen a fabric shaver or two in a store or in an advertisement on TV, the internet or in a magazine at some point in time but must of us do not really know what it is or even how to use it. So lets start with what exactly it is. A fabric shaver is a small hand held item that cuts off fuzz, fuzz balls, strings, snags, removes imbedded pet hair and other such things. These are typically battery operated and are not dangerous to use.

So now that you know what a fabric shaver is I bet your wondering how you use it. When I first brought one home I was sure that I was going to ruin my clothing with it so I started with the table cloth in the kitchen. That poor thing always gets snags in it. I turned the fabric shaver on and gently ran it over the snagged area. I was amazed to see the little ball of string has been cut off and left no further damage to my table cloth!

That had me so excited that I went to my closet and pulled out some of my favorite clothing that had snags like this in it. In no time at all I was removing snags, fuzz and more from my clothing. It actually saved several pieces of my clothing from going to the garbage because they had become so worn looking. After using the fabric shaver on my clothing I started looking at my furniture and throw pillows.

You see, I have two cats and they have left a few snags as well as their fur in my couch, recliner and in my throw pillows. So I took the fabric shaver to them all! After just one use my couch looks almost brand new and so does my recliner and my throw pillows are now in wonderful condition! Now if only they would come out with a fabric shaver that would work on panty hose!

Honestly I would have to say that the fabric shaver has saved me a ton of money in items that I no longer need to throw away and replace. If you don’t own a fabric shaver already then you really should get one! It will be one of the best things that you ever did!
